Happily Ever Before & After Week 7: Cottage Dining Room Makeover via Four Generations One Roof

Happy Friday Everyone!! 

Well, the drywall finisher came yesterday & finished his part of the shower makeover! Woo Hoo! Looks like this weekend I'll be busy painting the bathroom while the boys are busy installing the new tub surround in our shower! I'm so glad things are moving so quickly in this space!

Since it's Friday, it's time for another fabulous room makeover!!

There isn't anything I like more than a good makeover!! 

I just love seeing all the before & after photos! 

Today, I wanted to share a beautiful dining room makeover via Jessica, at Four Generations One Roof. I have featured Jessica's handy work on the blog before.....you may remember her fabulous family room makeover I shared at the start of this series! 

Well, when I was looking for room makeovers for this segment, I just couldn't help but ask Jessica if I could feature her dining room as well! You'll see what I mean in a minute!! :)

 Let's take a look, shall we?!

Here is the "before" photo of Jessica's dining room space.....

Jessica said she was wanting a room that was "fun, bright, cheery, cozy, & comfy with a touch of coastal cottage flair." She also wanted to add "some texture & visual appeal to the plain boring walls." 

This is what Jessica's dining room looks like now.....

Isn't it fabulous?!

I love the board & batten added to the walls! It's such a classic cottage look! I'm also loving the new curtains & that fun fabric she used to reupholster the chairs on each side of the hutch!! I think Jessica definitely accomplished her goals for this room! Don't you?!
