Happily Ever Before & After Week 22: Boy's Room Makeover via I Love That Blog

Hey Friends!!

Well.....it's March 1st? (How is that even possible?!) And it's snowing AGAIN!!!

Seriously, at first, I was all like....
"Oh, the snow is so pretty!"

And now I'm like.....
"Seriously?! Are you kidding me?! It's snowing AGAIN?!" 

I'm over it people....O-VER IT!!

Okay, now that my weather rant is over! Let's talk room makeovers!!

I'm so excited for this week's Happily Ever Before & After feature! It's a Farm Chic Big Boy Room via  Jordin, at I Love That Blog.

One of my home goals for this year is to move Griffin into Parker's room. I'm dreaming of two little twin beds, a shared nightstand, plaid prints, and all things boy! I'm hoping to pull it off sometime during the summer, so that they can get used to sleeping in a room together before Parker starts back to school in the fall. I haven't quite decided what I'm gonna do with Griffin's room. It will either be converted into a home office or a playroom to house all of their toys! Anyway, because I have boy rooms on the brain, I just had to share this adorable big boy room with you all!

Jordin's little boy was growing up and it was time to convert the nursery into a "big boy" space! Here is a look at his room "before."

Jordin said she wanted something "fun and non-themish." She also wanted a room that could grow with her little man! She scored some fabulous curtains at a Pottery Barn outlet last spring for just $25 and they set the scene for this makeover, establishing her navy & green color scheme. She collected items/accessories over a period of time & also shopped around her own house to give the room an eclectic vibe.

Let's take a look at the room "after"......shall we?!

Swoon!!

I adore SO MANY things about this room!! I love the big bold stripes on the wall behind the bed, those fabulous plaid curtains, the upholstered headboard, the classic/traditional monogram pillow, & that awesome cow hide rug!! It's unexpected, yet perfect in this space!!
