Peanut Butter Ball Recipe

Because everyone knows that peanut butter & chocolate are a match made in heaven! :)
Seriously, your Valentine is gonna love you forever!!

My dad made these peanut butter balls a couple weeks back & the kids and I have been gobbling them up!! We've been keeping them in the freezer & I've been treating myself to a couple in the afternoon with a cup of coffee! DELICIOUS!

The recipe was found on HERE on this youtube channel.

Ingredients:

1 stick unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar
12 oz of milk chocolate chips
1 Tbsp all-vegetable shortening

Directions:

In a large mixing bowl add unsalted butter, creamy peanut butter, vanilla, & powdered sugar. Beat ingredients until mixture is smooth & creamy. Place in the refrigerator for at least one hour. Then remove & roll peanut butter mixture into balls. Return balls to refrigerator.

On stove top, melt chocolate chips & shortening over simmering water. Once melted, use forks to roll the peanut butter balls in the chocolate until thoroughly coated. Transfer balls to wax paper to let chocolate harden.

Store chocolate peanut butter balls in refrigerator or freezer until time to serve.  Enjoy!! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a Terrific Tuesday!!

  5. In Ohio we only dip them so some of the peanut butter still shows that way they look just like buckeyes. As a matter of fact that is what we call them Buckeyes!

  6. I used my favorite chocolate chips (Guittard milk chocolate) and these turned out AMAZING! Although, I'm not sure if I should thank you or not for the recipe since I'm going to have to use some major self control not to eat too many. ;)
