Hey Everyone!!
I thought I would share the recipe for one of my favorite soups with you today! This recipe was one that I actually got from a co-worker a few years back. It has become a favorite for our family!
My mom made the soup last Sunday for our weekly football gathering & I since I had been wanting to share the recipe here on the blog anyway, I thought this was perfect time! This soup is so delicious & so easy to put together. If you are having a house full of guests this Christmas, this recipe would be a great option! It makes quite a bit & it always seems to be a crowd pleaser.
Ingredients:
2lbs ground chuck/beef
1 medium onion (chopped)
2 cups water
2 pkg taco seasoning
2 pkg Hidden Valley Rach Dry mix
1 can stewed tomato
1 can Rotel
1 can black beans
1 can pinto beans
1 can red beans
2 cans white corn
Directions:
Mix all above ingredients. Do not drain beans. Cook and bring to boil, then let simmer 45 min-1hour. Top with mexican shredded cheese & sour cream (optional.) Serve with tortilla chips.

ReplyDeleteOh I'm making this for sure! Me and the hubs love chili and tacos and this seems to be the perfect blend of both. Do you usually add the optional cheese and sour cream...I bet that would just be the icing on the cake. YUM! Thanks for sharing!
