Hey Friends!!
Even though it’s only been 3 days, I feel like it has been forever since I posted!
I miss chatting with you all! What have you guys been up to?!
If you follow me on Facebook, then you know what I’ve been doing…..

Seriously….my inner domestic diva….she’s been on vacation for like FOREVER!!! I don’t know who she thinks she is, but apparently she thinks she can take vacation for months at a time!!

Does yours vacation too?!

There is just something about the change in the weather, the cool/crisp air….it just gives me more energy! I can’t explain it! I woke up Monday morning all energized!  I wanted to clean house, do laundry, & COOK…..which is the weirdest part of all!

Just being honest here folks, my hubby does most of the cooking in our home! He seriously fixes dinner for our little family of four ALMOST every night! (hints his comment above)

Yes, he is AMAZING! Yes, I love him….big fat LOVE!! 🙂

Anyway, I’ve cooked dinner for the past two nights…..and we’re not talking Mac & Cheese people!!

Monday night we had this recipe from Chef in Training & tonight we had this recipe from Myra at My Blessed Life. Both recipes were delicious & major hits with the family! If you are looking for something new to try, I would definitely recommend them both!!

I also have a new fall dessert recipe to share with you guys in the next few days….STAY TUNED! 🙂

Have you tried out any new recipes lately?!

Ok….well, that was a little bit longer than my usual introduction. On to the main point of this post! 🙂

On Friday, I mentioned that I picked up some beadboard wallpaper at Lowes….

I also mentioned that I hoped to be able to start putting it up over the weekend.  Well, things didn’t go as planned (story of my life) and I haven’t been able to start that little project just yet! 🙁

I am wanting to put the wallpaper up in our hallway bathroom to brighten up the space a bit & also bring some character to the room! White beadboard is just a classic look & I’m looking forward to seeing the difference it’s going to make in our tiny bathroom!

I did manage to round up some inspiration photos for the space & since I’ve done enough talking, I’m gonna just shut up & let you all enjoy the eye candy!

Gorgeous, right?!
I’m so excited to get started!! I’ve never worked with beadboard wallpaper before, but I’m planning on using the tips that I’ve read on Rhoda’s & Kate’s blogs to get me through!

Now, if my inner domestic diva will just chill out for a few days, maybe I will get around to getting this project started!! I don’t want to offend her though, she may go on vacation permanently! 🙂

I’ll be back tomorrow to share some pictures of the bathroom in it’s current state & also get your guys’ opinions on one wall that it is giving me a little bit of trouble! I just can’t decide what I’m gonna do & I’m hoping that with your guys’ input, I’ll be able to make an informed decision!!

Talk to you all soon!!
Hope you are having a great night!!

  1. Oh you diva you! Look at you cooking dinner TWO nights in a row. Your inner diva may just have inspired mine to make an appearance. Probably not this week though because I just went to the store tonight and didn’t get one thing to cook for dinner. Ha! Can’t wait to see your bathroom project!

  2. Seems like our diva’s decided to come back and play at the exact same time!! I cooked the exact same nights and felt so accomplished with the loads and floors and major cleaning {like closets too} that I had finally addressed!! But sooo many projects to do and finish!! So here’s a high five to you!! Now show us the beadboard on the wall… I am so intrigued!! I would love to use it on my island!! ~ Lori @Vintage Charm Restored

  3. You go girl 🙂 I need to be inspired by these recipes….I need a little help in the recipe department! Can’t wait to see what you do with your bead board wall paper 🙂

Have a blessed and wonderful day!

  4. I have made this meatloaf recipe before and my family loves it; it is the best. Everyone makes sure they are home for dinner when I make it. I am looking forward to trying the chicken and bacon recipe too.
