Rustic, Chic, DIY Wedding Inspiration...

So, I told you all that my mom & I have been busy working on decorations for a fall wedding
which is quickly approaching...

We have been having a great time working & making all kinds of pretty things!!!

I wanted to share some inspiration photos with you to kind of give you an idea of the look we are going for!

Jacy, the bride, wanted a fall wedding, with kind of a rustic, chic flair! Originally, we were going with all of the traditional fall colors...orange, red, etc. But, after searching Pinterest and finding pictures of fall weddings done in more of an earthy color scheme and with lots & lots of burlap, she had a change of heart...

And after looking at these pictures, I think you will understand why!
I mean, really, does it get any better than this?!

I LOVE every aspect of this wedding!! The burlap gives it that rustic feel, but the baby's breath & the tissue paper pom-poms soften the look to give it that glam feel that every bride is looking for!! Jacy & I both loved the "Mr. & Mrs." banner as well, so we decided it was a MUST for her headtable!! Also LOVING the fireplace mantel behind the head table & hoping to re-create that look for her wedding as well!

This is just another inspiring photo which shows you how burlap can be dressed up with a few glam accessories! I love the combination of something rustic with something beautiful!!

We also both loved the idea of these wooden signs! They definitely add to the rustic look we are going for!! So, we will be using a few of these at the wedding/reception as well!! I have been working on a couple of these & hope to share them with you soon!

This "celebrate" banner is just another example of the word banners, like the "Mr. & Mrs." one above. I just  LOVE these!! Jacy decided she liked the look of the square pennants better, so we will be incorporating them throughout the reception hall to designate the different areas. More on this to come!

We will be incorporating the tissue paper pom-poms into the decor as well! These will be hanging from the ceiling throughout the ballroom to give it a glam feel & add DRAMA to the room!! These things are soo cheap & soo easy to make, but are going to add such a big impact to the reception!!  Nothing like getting the biggest bang for your buck...especially when  talking about wedding decor!! We all know how much money people spend on weddings these days!!

To add that touch of fall that we are looking for, we will be incorporating white pumpkins into the mix! Jacy is wanting to use these on some of the guest tables & carve them with a "W" (the first initial of their last name.)  The pumpkins will then be lit & add a little glow to the tables!!

To add even more ambiance, we will be using mason jars, similar to these, with candles to give a little extra glow to the tables as well! I love the idea of the mason jars...I think they definitely add to the rustic theme of the decor!

And lastly, how cute is this little ring bearer pillow?!

Since pillows are my moms specialty, I don't think that this will be a problem at all!! :)

So, that's it!!

Our rustic, chic, fall wedding inspiration board if you will...

I'm so excited to be able to share all of the upcoming wedding projects with you all!!
Stay tuned!!

There is so much inspiration out there and I am sure you both have some clever ideas up your sleeve too. :)

  8. I like your wedding layout. It is beautiful.I also like your wedding dress. The wedding dress expresses your true self-expression. Each brides have different taste and style, but when it comes to choose the wedding dress, it is better to follow certain ideas. The dress should enhance your beauty, fit perfectly, comfortable with walking, sitting down and normal activities.View the site:http://www.rainingblossoms.com, it can help you to choose a suitable one.
