Birthday Party Update & Procrastination...

My baby's 1st birthday is this coming Friday!!

And on Saturday, we are Celebrating....

 I used one of the shots from his 11 month photoshoot that I did last month!

And I ordered the invites HERE.

As much as I loved the sock monkey printables that I showed you through Chickabug on etsy a few weeks ago, they were a little more than I wanted to spend! So, I started searching etsy for other options & found these A-Dorable cupcake toppers...

And these really cute water bottle labels...

I bought these 2 items on etsy along with personalized thank you cards, napkin wraps, & highchair banner for $10.95!! What a Deal!! If you wanna see more from this adorable etsy shop you can check it out HERE.

So....I am in full house cleaning mode right now getting ready for the big PAAARRTAY!!

Right down to shampooing the carpets!!

No, I still haven't gotten my wood floors!!

If Santa doesn't bring them to me for Christmas this year, I don't know what I am going to do!!

Yeah, my carpet looks okay in this one picture, but trust me people...its BAD!!! I seriously think I would have to shampoo the carpet once a month to keep them looking good decent. I feel like I am tackling the same stains over & over & over!!  It's exhausting!!

Never, never, never, N.E.V.E.R. again will I put in carpet in my house!! 

Ahem, ok...

Moving on!!

And as if I don't have enough stuff to do or going on...

I decided to take on one more project this week!

I'm gonna let you in on a little secret...

You remember my kitchen remodel I did MONTHS ago?! 

You know, the one where I painted all of my kitchen cabinets?!

Well...I never painted the inside of the cabinet doors!

(GASP!!)

I know, I know...you can unfollow me if you want! I'm a loser!! 

We got the cabinet doors hung & it all looked so good from the outside!  I told myself that I would take a couple weeks off & then go back & paint the inside, BUT I never did!!  

So, I decided that I wasn't going to procrastinate any longer...

 I AM getting it done!!

I still have one more coat of paint to put on tomorrow, but I'm almost finished!!

And because I thought I was getting my new floors, I was holding off on painting underneath the cabinets as well! I thought with the old floor coming up & the new floor going down that it might scratch up the paint, so  they remained the old cabinet color. I couldn't take it anymore, so its getting painted too!

I am sooo glad to FINALLY be finishing this project!!

Oh yeah, and one more thing before I leave...

The hubby and I  decided to tackle our garage this weekend!!

Think it needed it?!

Just a bit ridiculous!!

Please tell me that I am not the only one who has a garage that looks like this!!

I'm actually embarassed to be showing these to you, but in order for you to truly appreciate the "after" shots (which I will be posting a little later) you need to see these!!

We don't have a lot of extra storage in our home, so our garage becomes the catch all!

I hate it!!

This garage was going to be a man cave at one time, which is why there is 2 different colors on the wall (it was going to be a golf theme), but we never finished it! Then we had children & we decided this space should have a more important purpose! 

 So the plan is to turn the back half of the garage into a playroom (where the window is.) We had to tear down the drywall to put the window in, but so far thats as far as we've gotten!! Imagine that!!

Yes, we like to PROCRASTINATE!!!

I am hoping that maybe later this fall we can get the playroom going!!
