Easy DIY Shutters for the Shed...

Last month I showed you how I took this ugly eye sore that was in the backyard....

And turned it into this....

Much better right?!

I also showed you this little window that was added to give some character to the shed...

Well, I decided it needed a little something extra!

I had these old fence panels laying around in the garage left-over from another project & I thought they would be perfect for some DIY shutters!

I had my dad cut them to size & use the left-over pieces to add a some trim to the top & bottom...

I primed them & then gave them a couple coats of white spray paint & attached them to the shed with my husband's drill & a few screws....and VOILA...we have shutters!!

I love them!!

They took this cute little window & made it even cuter!

What do you think?

Aren't my vincas getting nice & big? LOVE these flowers....seriously...so LOW MAINTENANCE!!!

A couple doses of miracle grow at the beginning of the summer & I hardly EVER water these things!!!
They love it HOT & DRY...perfect for this Southern Illinois humidity!! Today the projected heat index is 113....can you say WOWZA?! I can't wait to get a break from the heat!!

And for those of you who didn't know...this little "window" is actually a mirror!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!
