Eeek!!!
I'm so excited to show you all my laundry room makeover!!!
And although I am not completely finished
adding all of the accessories...
I think its time to go ahead with the big reveal!!!
Come on in & take a look....
Ta Da!!!
What do you think?!?
In the words of Thrify Decor Chick...
I.AM.IN
LUUURVE!!! :)
I girlied my space up by adding some pink to the room!
Hey...I'm usually the only one in this room & I think I deserve some pink in this house full of boys!!
I think the pink compliments my "lima bean" walls
really well too!!
And I can't tell you how much I love my board & batten!!
For such a small amount of money, it totally transforms the space and makes everything so bright & so clean looking!! Seriously...I think the total price for the B&B came into around $30!!!
My pink hydrangeas were a gift from my mom...
She bought them for me for helping her out with her etsy shop!
Aren't they gorgeous?!?
Here are just some more pics...
Sorry...I had to take one from every angle you know!
My new blog friend Jessica from Two Shades of Pink helped me come up with this idea for some fun & really cheap wall art when she introduced me to this fabric!! I love it & it matched perfectly in my new room!! I will post a tutorial on how to make these soon!! Thank you Jessica!!
Ahhh...I think I might actually enjoy doing laundry in this space!!!
Now, so that we can fully appreciate the makeover,
Let's look back to where we started....
Yuck!!!
LOVE!!!
I still have a few things I want to do in this room....
1.) I need some sort of a window treatment...I think my talented mother has something up her sleeve!
2.) I also want some sort of a curtain to hide my
A/C, furnace, & water heater.
3.) I still have a few things to put up on the wall...
4.) I would like a pretty rug to go in front of my washer & dryer.
All future blog posts of course! ;)
Well, that's it!!
I hope you LOVE it as much as I do!!
Hope everyone is having a great week!!!
I will be linking up at all of my favorite party spots....

ReplyDeleteLOVE it girl. As always. That B&B turned out soooo good. I like the color of your walls too. Such a good job. I agree on the rug. You need a nice stripe rug running across there.
ReplyDeleteSo, when you coming over to redo my office? ;)
Beautiful and Inspiring! Your blog is a very fun read. Thanks for sharing with us!
ReplyDeletestunning results...It's BEAUTIFUL!! I'm sooooo jealous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning makeover!!!! Congratulations and nice job! Always feels good to complete a project and have it turn out so perfect!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely transformation, it looks so bright and cheery now! Makes me inspired to do something about mine!
ReplyDeleteOh.My.Word. It's stunning. Seriously, straight out of a magazine (only better!). I really love the color you chose for the walls, it's so pretty! It looks like it has a greenish hue, is this pic pretty much the true color?
ReplyDeleteOH. My. Word. Your laundry room transformation is Uh-Mazing!!! I would want to be in there ALL THE TIME! When I moved into my house my laundry room was this cinnamon, pumpkin, muddy looking color and those adjectives are too nice to describe it. I painted it this beautiful yellow that makes me happy but stopped there. I need to make my laundry room happy like yours! LOVE IT! And your welcome on the fabric...it is ABSOLUTELY perfect and I love that you framed them! Just gorgeous...I even like how you did it so each one looks unique. I seriously can not say enough about your laundry room!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the board and batten and the color choice -- what a nice subtle green with the hints of pink. Good job.
ReplyDeleteIt is perfect,,,,just like I knew it would be! I love the wall treatment, and I agree that you deserve a little pink in your life! I know what it is like living with all guys :) A little area rug will look great and what a good idea to look for some curtains to hide the water tank stuff. You did a great job! Our kitchen reveal is comin....thanks for asking though. Darrell is working on the range hood today and then there will be some trim and grout to finish..its getting close!!
ReplyDeleteB.E.A.UUUUUUUUUU.TIFUL!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely fabulous Tonya!! I think I'm going to tackle mine after the never ending kitchen remodel I'm in the middle of. You've totally inspired me! I would do laundry all day if my laundry room looked like that...okay maybe not but I sure would enjoy the chore so much more in a beautiful space like yours. Great job!!
ReplyDeleteHeather
Very pretty transformation! If you have to do laundry, I can't think of a prettier place to do it in! Very cheerful and sunny!~Patti
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT! I AM GOING TO HAVE TO COME SEE IT IN PERSON SO I KNOW WHAT TO DO IN MY BATHROOM. GREAT JOB! LOVE THE PINK, THAT IS THE ONLY ROOM IN THE HOUSE WE GET! LOL!
ReplyDeleteGREAT JOB ONCE AGAIN!
KASEY
I love it! it looks great! I am in the process of doing our laundry room too! Take a look at it on my blog if you have a chance. I would love suggestions!
ReplyDeleteIt looks gorgeous!! I would definitely be happy to do laundry in there which is saying a LOT cuz I HATE doing laundry. I love the simple wall art and the little glass jars of soap, such a cute way to display that! It's so great how we can turn in a very utilitarian space into something so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! Where'd you get the prints in the frames?
ReplyDeletewow, that is so, so pretty! Love the colors! I'd love it if you would link this up to our wicked awesome Wednesday blog party, if you can. I know our readers would love this project.

XO
WOW, the change is amazing!!! High 5! I am really liking that color you used!
ReplyDeleteTonya - love the laundry room! Thanks for sharing. The addition of pink to the room is perfect.... Audrey Hepburn sums it up nicely "I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles." Great job! Kim : )
ReplyDeleteWow, the transformation is incredible!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI am in LUUURVE too! It's so gorgeous. I love how soft, clean and pretty your laundry room is. The three prints above the washer and dryer give the room such a feminine feel. My laundry room is a disaster right now; seeing yours has given me great inspiration to at least declutter it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the pink... a perfect touch for the room.
ReplyDeletethis is so elegant. I love it. it's just so lovely and clean and simple.

You are officially my hero! My laundry room looks like your before!
ReplyDeleteWhat an AMAZING transformation! Love what you did with it.
ReplyDeleteWhat inspiration! I am in the middle of a laundry room makeover and I love your little old fashioned washing machine up on the shelf. Please do tell where you found it. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, what you've done with your space and all the other ladies of laundry out there loves it too. You go girl! We are definitely on the edge of our computer screens waiting for your final post once you've completed the room. Can't wait!!!
ReplyDeleteI think it is amazing how your breaker box and hot water heater blend in now, they are hardly noticeable. Have you thought about using the track system on the ceiling similar to what is in hospitals for a curtain to cover your hot water heater? Maybe your handy dad could build a box to cover it that would match the great molding he did.
ReplyDeleteHi I just started following a month or so ago. I have been working on my own laundry room makeover. Actually yellow and pink were my wedding colors so this room is awesome to me. Where did you get that fabric btw?

ReplyDeleteLovely...what color is this paint...I love it!!!
ReplyDeletewow amazing, i love it so much. Great job
ReplyDeleteLoved it! What was the exact name of your color of your wall paint!
ReplyDeleteI love how clean and fresh it feels. For the amount of time we mommies spend in there, it should be pretty!
ReplyDeleteNow if the laundry detergent companies could make bottles that match...might have to make my own!
Love your blog!
Looks great! I have a question.... I want to makeover my laundry room and in a lot of before and after photos I see, they get rid of the hamper. So, where do you put the dirty laundry?
ReplyDeletelove it!
ReplyDeleteroberta
Hey I'd rather have a lot more pink in my home then black. Black is such a depressing color.
ReplyDeleteLove it. What kind of paint did you use on the breaker box?
