So I have many different projects going on, but none that are complete...
I have had a hard time focusing on all of my indoor projects with this beautiful weather we have been having! I've just wanted to spend time working in my yard & flower beds instead....
So, since I am a total slacker I don't have any projects completed, I thought I would just share with you a few fabulous finds that I stumbled across & also a few pics of my weekend...
I always participate in the Weekend Wrap-Up Party at Tatertots & Jello and while browsing through the linky party, I came across this beautiful wreath from Two Shades of Pink...
I just adore this wreath!! Jessica (the author of this blog) made it out of some retired bedsheets she had laying around. Love all of the ruffles & the flower accents! Very simple, but very pretty!!
I decided to spend a little time browsing through Jessica's blog & then came across these little beauties...
Napkin Rings made out of PVC pipe...LOVE!!!
So, head on over to Two Shades of Pink and check out all of Jessica's other fab creations!!
I also found an adorable tutorial for "fortune eggs" from Poppytalk. These are seriously the cutest things ever...
Adorable!!
However... I don't think that I will be making any this year...
I can just see my 3 year old cracking all of them open!!
See that mischievous look in his eyes....
Maybe once he gets a little bit older :)
As far as my weekend went.....
I bought a new spring wreath to spruce up my front door...
I got it at JoAnn Fabrics on sale for 40%...
it came to $25ish with tax
I was going to make my own wreath, but after looking at all the supplies to make something similar, I was going to end up spending just as much if not more, so I thought...might as well just buy one!!
I also did a little more on the side of our house,
planting a few tulips...
And my hubby built some flower boxes for my window as well...
We found a tutorial on "How Does She?" blog & it was quick & easy!!
Now, I just have to get them painted & ready for hanging!
(add to my ever growing list of projects...)
I also worked on my photography skills...
taking pics of my little one while the hubs was hard at work :)
Trying to master the manual mode...
I thought they turned out pretty cute! If you wanna see more pics
of my little sweetie you can visit our family blog!
I will try to get one of my projects complete within the next couple of days to share with you!!
How about all of you....
What projects are you working on?
Are you having problems finishing them like I am?!?

Hi from That Country Place...and yes, I do have some projects that are unfinished!! I do keep thinking about them though!! Mine involve some painting, which is not my favorite thing to do. Love the flower boxes your hubby got done for you. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely LOVELY for featuring my sweet ruffly things. Your blog is delightful and I adore your new wreath...it's PINK! I almost did the same thing when I saw they were all on sale. But I had already started my wreaths and had to see it through. And tulips...my absolute favorite flower. We are soul sisters for sure! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to know I'm not the only one with a long list of projects that are waiting to be completed :)
ReplyDeleteHi Tonya! I love your choices, that wreath is gorgeous and what a great idea to use bedsheets. The wreath that you picked up is beautiful and I love your front door. :)
ReplyDeleteYou kids are so adorable and that last shot if the little pouty bottom lip is priceless! :)
Hi there, I love your wreath, and I actually got some gardening done today as well-I also got my flower boxes up too (great minds think alike!)
ReplyDeleteGirl, I can't WAIT to show you what my husband sneakily did with my paint chip!!!! I haven't had time to post about it, but squeeeeee! : )
