My mom had a doctor's appointment today in the St. Louis area, so we decided to take advantage of that & do some shopping while we were up there!
We made a trips to Home Goods, TJ Maxx, hit a couple of antique shops, went thrifting, & visited some cutesy shops in the downtown Kirkwood area.
These are some pics from one of the favorite shops we visited...it was called Moonbeams. They had some really cute stuff! They offer a variety of services, but also have some really unique home decor items!
Take a minute & browse through their shop....
See anything you like? I love this subway art in the photo above...the sayings are too cute!
We also visited the Antique Gallery in Kirkwood as well...
Wow! They had some really cute stuff!!
Take a look at this hutch...gorgeous!!!
Also loving this dresser...
My mom & I have a weakness for white furniture :)
Don't really know why I liked this banner hanging from the ceiling..
Kinda like Subway Art...I think that is what drew me to it!
Unfortunately, I have no where to put it in my home...
Love the color & the distressing on this antique desk!
I really liked this vintage egg sign!!
It was actually super heavy & had a whopping price tag...
$145!
How about this old antique door?!?
Gorgeous!!!
I must say I was drooling over this door!
Love the color...Love the architecture!!!
This also had a whopping price tag...$850!
Also really like this old window with the mirror..
These are the 2 items I bought...
Old distressed wooden bat...$14
Old Books about Baseball...$22
These are going to go perfect in my son's sports themed bedroom!
His room is done mostly in baseball & football, but all of the decor has an old vintage feel to it! These 2 items are going to add the perfect finishing touches to the room!
I also have a project that I am going to be working on in which I will incorporate the bat, so stay tuned for that! I'm really excited about it! Hopefully it will turn out as cute in real life as it looks in my mind!
We will see!! :)
Have you been on any fun shopping trips lately?
Found any cool or unique items?
I would love to hear about them!!
