Decorating for Spring...

I just wanted to share with you what I have been working on the past few days...

This is the wall opposite my kitchen sink which has been bare for the last couple of months!

With all of the BEAUTIFUL weather we have been having...

I have had a slight case of SPRING FEVER!!

Its had me wanting to decorate & bring all of those beautiful spring colors inside my home...

I bought this cute little basket with the bottles in it at Hobby Lobby 50% off last week...
Isn't it the cutest?!?

I had bought some fresh flowers for my white pitcher on my kitchen table & stole a couple stems for my new little cutie!

I also found these cute little bottles at Dollar General
 for $1.50 a piece!

The colors were perfect, so I snatched them up!

I had been inspired by some other bloggers who have been making their own Cherry Blossom branches with old flowers & twigs/sticks from their yards...too cute!

I had to give it a whirl!

Turned out pretty cute, huh?
I will be doing another post within the week or so to show you how to make some of your own!

The shelf I already had...it used to be black. I had it in this exact same spot before my kitchen makeover. I first painted it cream, but that wasn't doing anything for me, so I decided to
make it pop with a couple coats of blue paint!

I made the little chalkboard with a wooden plaque that my mom had laying around...
Just gave it a few coats of chalkboard spray paint...
and it was good to go!

I had these glass jars already, filled them with sticks & some greenery from my bushes outside & then put some plastic eggs in them that I bought at Dollar General as well.

Looks springy (is that a word?!?) and festive for Easter!

I'm really happy with how it all turned out!
My plan is to use this area to decorate throughout the year
& just change things out as the seasons come & go...

Have you been doing any decorating for spring?

I would love to hear about your projects...send me a link if you like!

Hope you all are having a great week!!
