So my mom decided to remodel her kitchen...
We all know that bathrooms & kitchens are the most expensive rooms in the home to remodel. New cabinets, countertops, appliances...it adds up quick! My mom wanted to brighten her kitchen up, and just kind of give it a facelift, so instead of buying new cabinets, she decided to PAINT her cabinets white instead.
Painting cabinets is a simple, inexpensive way to turn your kitchen from blah, to GORGEOUS! It just takes patience (which I sometimes lack) and a little bit of good ole fashion elbow grease! :) After painting the cabinets, adding new hardware can also help to really change the look of the cabinets as well.
Please excuse the poor picture quality (we had no idea we would be blogging this 6 months down the road or we would have gotten better pics...:) This is the only "before" picture we have & it was taken with my mom's cell phone. Of course, mom was half way through this project when this picture was taken, but at least you can see what the cabinets used to look like.
